Well Shawn made it into housing. However it is like a closet, he told me it's so small. It's just a studio and he doesn't even have a kitchen. He has to share one down the hall with everyone else on his floor. So he doesn't have much to speak of, his friend Robert moved him in, it must be strange to him since he has been in the street for so long. He says he doesn't know what to do now. I told him he needs to make it his own. But soon he will hopefully be getting back his SSI which he lost when they put him in jail. I think the system is full of liars, they keep a pretty front but what's behind that curtain is a horror show. If you keep getting knocked down it gets harder and harder to get back up. That is what he has been through and is suffering from night horrors at a serious rate. There is no help for the situations he finds himself in out there, yet he's holding on and decided to make a go of it as he doesn't have much of a choice. I just hope he finds himself rather than losing himself while he's at it.
I blog on things that mean something to me. I guess I always come back to things that hold importance in a personal way. That's the only way I really feel comfortable communicating.
